There was quite some time since I applied for a stock video account at iStockphoto, but I haven’t really got around using it until now. Just after my video account was approved, about a year ago, I made a short video clip to try it out with. Just a countdown with furry numbers.
I haven’t sold one single video file of that clip, I guess the clip is kind of odd and hard to find use for, but still the lack of interest for it did put me on hold to make more videos.
But recently I took up video creation for stock again, and made three new clips of video backgrounds where I animated a Hexagon Grid in different takes.
So it will be interesting to see if any of these can maybe generate some better interest than what my fur numbers has done. I have a few more videos in the pipeline and will keep adding them to my portfolio, I won’t give it a rest until I’ve managed to get my first video sale. :)
I did create a lightbox for my background video clips. As I write this post it only contains the three clips above, but I’ll keep adding more background related clips to it shortly.
